Make me tea and keep me company

Goa, a kettle, and 40 strangers. Make Me Tea and Keep Me Company isn’t just a photo project — it’s a slow rebellion against small talk and scrolling thumbs. You invite me in, I bring my camera, and together we share tea, stories, or even silence. No scripts, no filters, just the weird, wonderful magic that happens when two humans share space. Across ages, identities, and life paths, each encounter becomes a tiny social experiment — equal parts art, curiosity, and warmth in a cup.

Forty cups of tea, forty open doors — an intimate map of strangers, stories, and the spaces in between.

A camera in my hand has always been more than a tool — it is a limb, a listener, a bridge. In my early years, I carried it everywhere, chasing the smallest moments and letting them grow into quiet stories. Every photograph was a conversation without words.
Make Me Tea and Keep Me Company unfolds at the meeting point of community, art, and vulnerability. It is an experiment in presence: inviting strangers to pause, to open their doors, and to share the fragile intimacy of a cup of tea.
In a time when connection is often reduced to pixels and performances, I want to return to something slower, simpler — the alchemy of two humans sharing space. This project asks: can a humble ritual dismantle the walls between us, and let us briefly step into each other’s lives?
